TikTok, the world’s leading short-video platform, launches its #TikTokRaya2019 campaign to welcome the month of Syawal and its festivities celebrated by all Malaysians across this diverse nation. Leading up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri, #TikTokRaya2019 encourages the spirit of ‘silaturahim’ (ties) amongst family and friends across the nation through a wide array of exciting in-app challenges.

Beginning 24th May, a new #TikTokRaya2019 challenge will be introduced each week, starting with #RayaDahDekat. #RayaDahDekat is a fun challenge that enables all Malaysians to show, parody, or creatively depict the preparation with friends and family ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, as well as coupled with music from TikTok’s Raya music.

Following #RayaDahDekat, the next wave of in-app challenges touching on the upcoming festivities are #FesyenRaya2019 and #BalikKampung2019. These challenges highlight the all too familiar hunt for the best Hari Raya fashion and the journey back to visit family and childhood friends respectively.

On 4th June, a special #TikTokRaya2019 challenge will see nine lucky winners walking away with RM100 vouchers - the only criteria is for TikTok users to be creative and inspired by Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Following this challenge is #JuadahRaya2019, a challenge that celebrates the glorious food that you only get during this period.

In addition, a co-branded challenge called #PowerPuasPuas will also run throughout this period, in partnership with TeaLive, one of Malaysia’s most popular tea-brewers together with Malaysian superstar, Faizal Tahir. The #PowerPuasPuas challenge requires Malaysians to be as imaginative as they can whilst drinking their favourite drink, especially when break-fasting. The best 50 TikTok videos stand a chance to win RM200 worth of TeaLive vouchers. Contest ends 9th June 2019.
