INTRODUCTION
The Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA '25) is back with an exciting Maritime Segment, offering free public access from 20 to 24 May 2025 at Resorts World Langkawi. Organized by the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM), this year’s event promises a thrilling showcase of naval power, international collaborations, and interactive demonstrations.

Highlights of LIMA '25 Maritime Segment
  1. Free Admission & Operating Hours
    • Open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Visitors can explore static displays, naval vessels, and cutting-edge maritime technology.
  2. Grand Opening with Fleet Review
    • The segment kicks off with the Gracing Ceremony on 20 May 2025, followed by the Fleet Review—a spectacular tradition where international and Malaysian naval ships are inspected at sea.
  3. Malaysia Maritime Conference
    • Held on 21 May 2025 at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC), the conference focuses on Malaysia A Maritime Nation: Synergizing Good Governance Through Effective Policies for Maritime Prosperity.
  4. International Participation
    • 12 ships from 10 countries, including Japan’s JS YAHAGI, Thailand’s HTMS KRABI, and the USA’s USS LENAH SUTCLIFFE HIGBEE.
    • Delegations from 7 international navy chiefs and 17 representatives.
  5. Malaysia’s Naval Showcase
    • 19 Malaysian vessels, including 14 from TLDM (e.g., KD LEKIU, KD MAHAWANGSA) and 5 from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (APMM).
  6. Interactive Exhibits & Daily Demonstrations
    • Static Displays: Featuring 11 agencies like TLDM, APMM, Customs, and Fire & Rescue, with assets such as the Super Lynx helicopter and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
    • Live Demonstrations: Daily maritime drills by TLDM, APMM, and other agencies at 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 3:00 PM–5:00 PM.
  7. Free Ferry Ride
    • Complimentary ferry services for close-up views of anchored warships.
Aerospace Segment Bonus
TLDM will also display aerial assets like the AW 139 Maritime Helicopter and Fennec in the Aerospace Segment.
