RAYA GIFT SET BY DIGNITY FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 April 2022 – Give the gift of tradition and sustainability this Hari Raya as we savour the joy of spending the festive season back in our kampungs with our loved ones.

DIGNITY GIFT BOX

Lovingly curated by sew X dignity and bake X dignity, transformational enterprises under DIGNITY FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION (Dignity), these Raya Gift Boxes will last beyond the festival. A basic Gift Box of two jars of cookies with a set of three fabric Sampul Raya is available at RM110 per box. 

For the cookies, you can choose two from these four flavours–Signature Chocolate Chip Cookies, Honey Cornflake Clusters, Pineapple Jam Tarts or Butternut Cookies. All cookies are made by the young apprentices of bake X dignity.

Besides being a local business, bake X dignity is also a baking school that combines academic teachings with life skills, making education more holistic and relevant. 

SAMPUL RAYA IKAT

The Sampul Raya set comes in two designs–Ikat and Songket. Made of up-cycled and local fabrics, the Sampul Raya are sewn by Dignity’s own students and refugee mothers from sew X dignity.

KUIH SOAP AND JASMINE CANDLE

If you prefer a no-frills gift, bake X dignity is also offering a special onde-onde biscuit made of butterscotch chips, gula melaka and desiccated coconut served on a pandan butter crust. Priced at RM38 per jar, these biscuits will surely be a delicious hit for your loved ones!
