Being born in a multi-racial family with chinese bloodline, I always like when it's mooncake season. It's actually a pastry and only can be seen aplenty during Mid-Autumm Festival. Nowadays mooncake is becoming a delicacy that is eaten by many walks of life and not just during the festival alone. It use to be given as gifts during Mooncake season, now it can be given to anyone as gift anytime as some shops still makes them after the festival. 

Original mooncakes are baked. Now some don't need to be baked and it comes in many colours. It has become very vibrant... hahaha I like the new evolve mooncake. You get many types of colours. Fillings hasn't change much. Mine is still lotus seed as a favourite. But since I had my high blood pressure, I am quite careful with my food intake.
