OCTOKIDS ON DUTY

As parents, we would always try to get our children to be involved in any positive activities, regardless who the organisers are, so as long as it is suitable for their own creative development. But in the same time, we do not wish to stress our children as well. So the education program that we or themselves choose should be best suited to their personality and it always be fun. Being competitive is healthy but instilling the virtue of teamwork is far better.

Fish & Co decided to design a programme that is fun and educational to explore their personal creativity called OCTOKIDS ON DUTY. It's actually a workshop with the concept of 'experiencing real working environment' through FOOD ART with actual foodstuff.

BEST FOOD ART
OCTOKIDS ON DUTY - FOOD ART
  • It's fun and teaches teamwork
  • It teaches them to create food display at the most presentable and the most appetizing as possible
  • It also teaches them to play with colour combination.
  • It helps the kids to learn to love certain foodstuff which they dislike before, by creating it in a way that they like.
  • It helps them appreciate food more.

My son had a go with it. Because he is autistic and his learning curve is a bit slow, it took him some time to finish his end results. He didn't let me take the photo hahaha but nevertheless I told him I still love him the same even though he didn't get to complete it. But after the programme, all was forgotten when food was served...hahahaha

HAHAHA HIS FINISH DISH, STILL I LOVE HIM THE SAME
