A few years back, during a trip down to Genting Highland, remembered looking out of the window in the hotel room that was overlooking greenery view of a mountain side, noticed faraway a small pool of blue water and was saying out loud there is a lake out there and was hoping that the lake would be made into good use as there was a small scale construction happening at the side of Genting Highlands as we travel down.
GETTING TO GENTING HIGHLANDS
Travelling to Genting Highlands, takes about 1 hour of travelling time. You may opt to travel by many mode of transportation all the way to Genting Highlands.
We decided our journey was going to be on Genting Express Bus Service which has several departure points from Kuala Lumpur. Previously Genting Express Bus would provide one time ticket price with Genting Cable Car ride. But currently they only provide express bus service all the way up to Awana Bus Terminal. From Awana Bus Terminal which is newly operational, you will need to go all the up to Level 2, to get the Awana Skyway which will bring you to your final destination which is the SkyAvenue Station.

You do not have to go far to have lunch. Their have KEMBALI KITCHEN, one of the among the 6 F&B that is available here. Located on the Rooftop, it's a lif journey. You will need to that the lif from the lobby up and just walk across the court yard to Kembali Kitchen and where the Grand Ballroom is also located.
Since lunch is done, it is time for a short rest and walkabout around the hotel for a closer look at their facilities.

Just like lunch, Dinner in KEMBALI KITCHEN is not disappointing as well. These is because they prepare several dishes from their Ramadhan 2017 set and again we have to praise the Chefs' that had prepare these. HANDY MOBILE PHONE
In each room, a normal phone in the room or hall is available, but there is one unit which caught our eyes and interest. It was a mobile phone which is attached to the side table near the bed call HANDY. We tested these unit for the whole of 3 days.
- The mobile phone is a collaboration of the hotel with Digi Telecommunications.
- All occupants of any unit will find this and allowed to use them
- All calls local and international is FREE of Charge
- You can bring along the mobile unit to Resort World Berhad if you are out for leisure / business there
- And if you need to run back to KL for a short while, yes you may bring it along BUT you are NOT ALLOWED TO bring home the unit.
- Each unit is assigned with a GPS to track the whereabouts not because of theft but just in case of emergency, it will be easier to find the guest.
- You can take photos with it
- Yes there is also some blind spot which the signal will not be reachable
These is very unique and yes we manage to make some calls back to friends with the unit to test it out.
