RAMADHAN DARI DAPUR UMMI, SUNWAY PUTRA HOTEL, KL

Every year my Ramadhan would be very simple, it's either homecook meal or PARAM. An invitation once a while to a restaurant by friends. Some of my friends would go back hometown always on the 1st day of Ramadhan. So I get to see all sorts of home cook meal on my FB wall, plus those who will breakfast in the car on the way home. I do miss that since both my parents are nor relatives.

As ramadhan is just round the corner, our hotels and restaurant around Kuala Lumpur, has starting promoting their outlets for the coming Ramadhan and Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur didn't want to be left out as well.

It's a practise, come ramadhan, some would travel back home town to have the 1st Ramadhan with parents and families. Continuing from last year's theme, Dari Dapur Ummi which will showcase the recipes shared and taught down to the Chef's in Sunway Putra Hotel, KL for the Ramadhan Menu. So from 'air tangan ibu' you can expect many old school menu and favourites for those who misses home cooked dishes by our parents.

The Ramadhan spread of Dari Dapur Ummi will consist of 100 over dishes or recipes, so it's worth every cent spend for a good break fast with family or friends. Among those will be featured are,

Sunway Putra Hotel, KL dessert corner is always my favourite corner. They have all sorts of cakes, biscuits. And when decorations are up, I would try very hard to refrain my fingers from pitching one fearing it will crumble down hahaha... but they have varieties. You can find a more contemporary dessert such as Cinnamon Churros, Prune Almond Cakes, and not forgetting 'Teh Tarik', and lots lots more. Hungry yet? hahahaha... typing these I am already hungry...

The Prayer Room (surau) is also available on the same level as Coffee House (level 9), for prayers and abulution (wuduk)

My son was already enjoying our old games set up at the Atrium Lounge. Baru Seremban, Congkak and many more. Since everyone went down memory lane, we didn't want to be left too hahaha....

And for those who wish to get a gift for anyone, you can get their chocolate set at the Atrium Lounge of Sunway Putra Hotel, KL at RM 16.00 per bar. It comes in 3 flavours, Pistachio, Dates and Almond. My favourite is pistachio, it's not so sweet and plenty of pistachio. These box has 3 bars of chocolate in it. Looks very exclusive indeed.
